April 13th is Scrabble Day, and that is today! Scrabble is a fun game where players use tiles with letters on them to make words, and all the words have to connect. In 1938, Scrabble was thought up by Alfred Mosher Butts. It was slightly different from the game he had created 7 years earlier, and it is sold by Hasbro, Inc. Scrabble is played all over the world and is enjoyed by people of all ages. Scrabble Day was set to be celebrated on April 13th because April 13th was Alfred’s birthday! I enjoy Scrabble because it teaches me new words! Do you like Scrabble? If you do, tell us why. We want to know!
