National Chocolate Eclair Day

Ahhh, this 22nd day of June is National Chocolate Eclair Day! How could there be a better day than today? What better way to start the day than with chocolate on a pastry filled with cream?! It is a sugary, sweet way to end your day too. Eclairs are a light, crisp pastry filled with a pastry cream, and chocolate eclairs are covered with chocolate. Chocolate eclairs are usually eaten as a dessert, but they can also be eaten at as a snack or even at every meal!
If you are on a diet, or watching calories, carb or sugar, be careful and wise about how joining in on the fun of this day because of the high calorie, high carb, high sugar count in eclairs.
