Star Wars Day

Today’s “holiday” might actually become a fun holiday! Who knows! Star Wars Day is always on May 4th, but why May 4th? It has to do with the well known phrase, “May the Force be with you”. In 2005, a news channel in Germany aired an interview where “May the force be with you”, was heard as “May the forth be with you”. It was then translated as “We are with you on May 4th”.

Here are some fun ways to Celebrate Star Wars Day:

  • Get out your laser sword and practice for another invasion.
  • Watch one of the Star Wars movies
  • Or better yet, watch 2, 3, or 4 of them and make it a Star Wars marathon
  • Learn some Star Wars Trivia facts.
  • Send a Star Wars day Ecard!
  • Have a Star Wars costume party.
  • Some people also call this Day “Luke Skywalker Day”.
