Recently, we have added a new section to the Life Plans called World Views.  The Life Guides ask a series of questions about a persons thoughts about their community, government, politics and voting.  This is how some of your peers and friends feel about the world in which we live:

I think it is important to vote.  I believe if people don’t vote, then they don’t have a right to complain.  I have voted before.  I vote absentee ballot.  There is a lot of information to absorb.  I recommend people go over the book very well before they vote.  I think it is important to be careful for what you ask for.

If I was in charge of the world,

I would change:

1. I would make sure men and women would work equally in government.

2. I would stop abuse of seniors, children, and people with disabilities.

3. I would be ready for the new world.

4. I would like to see all the churches come together.

5. I would like to have peace on earth.

I think it is important to vote, but I think the winner is already decided.  I believe my vote doesn’t count.  That is why I don’t vote.  I have voted in the past.  The last time I voted, it was on a computer.  I stood in line with all of the rest of the people.  I know how to vote.  I am a Democrat.   If I chose to vote again, I know, I have lots of supports like friends and family, I can speak too.

People are always complaining about President Obama.  He came into this mess.  I think people are unrealistic that he can instantly fix all of the problems he came into.  He needs time.  I think he is doing a good job.
