]]> Believe it or not there is a correct way to wash your hands. Sadly, most people do not wash their hands the correct way. That is why the cold and flu spread, so fast.

The correct way to wash your hands is:

1. Get your hands wet.

2. Use enoug

h soap to make lots of soap bubbles.

3. Rub your hands together for 20 seconds.

4. If you are not sure how long 20 seconds is you can sing, “Happy Birthday to You.”

There are many other songs that you can sing as long as they take 20 seconds.

5. Be sure you wash both sides of your hands, in between your fingers, up around your wrists, and don”t forget your fingernails and jewelry.

6. Rinse your hands off.

7. Be sure you dry them with a clean towel.

8. If you are in a public restroom be sure to save your paper towel to protect your “Clean Hands” while you open the door.

If some one has a cold or flu and opens a door and you touch that same door knob you get those germs on your hands. If you wash your hands you will not catch that person’s clod or flu and you will stay healthy. But, if you do not wash your hands you will end up with what ever that person had.
