I thought this would be a good topic to blog on because we have all known amazing physician’s assistants! National Physician’s Assistant Day is always on October 6th, and it is a day to see and celebrate the importance and the skills of people in this career. Highly trained Physician’s Assistants are essential to physicians and general practitioners. This position was created in 1965 by Dr. Eugene Stead at Duke Medical Center. Since the first physician assistants graduated from Duke University on October 6, 1967, October 6th became the day to celebrate them!
