So today is Fresh Veggie Day! Maybe June 16th was chosen to be Fresh Veggie Day because people who have gardens are beginning to pick the produce from their gardens. Make a promise to eat healthy today, or better yet, use today to start a routine of eating fresh veggies every day! Our bodies need food that is living with living nutrients, and eating fresh veggies is a good way to get some of those living nutrients into our bodies. Fresh veggies are healthier and more nutritious (better for you) than frozen or canned veggies. Try eating one fresh veggie for every meal and snack today, or be a vegetarian for the day.
