Today is Middle Name Pride Day, a day when we should take special pride in our middle names! Middle names are picked with care and often set us apart from others, so we should be proud of them. There are 2 reasons to be proud of our middle names. One reason is that it sets us apart fro every other Joe Smith or Susie Jones. My middle name is Dolly, and I’m proud of it even though it makes people think of a sheep or a singer who is known for things I don’t care for. Oh well. I’m proud of my middle name because it was my great grandma’s first name and is my mom’s and my grandma’s middle name! That’s the second reason to be proud of our middle names.
