Since we are on a health kick, here is Swim a Lap Day! Not only is it cool and fun, but it is also very good for us. Swimming exercises our muscles without straining them. It also raises our heart rates and strengthens our lungs in a healthy way. Swimming lets us exercise without overheating and works our joints without damaging them. I enjoy swimming laps, even if I do only swim with one arm. As with most types of exercise, swimming burns calories and helps us to lose weight so we feel great.
