The state of California is broken down into 53 State Senate districts for the House of Representatives. Each district has a person who stands up for that district’s interests in the House of Representatives, and we vote to choose who we want to represent our district. District 4 has 11 counties: Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Nevada, Shasta, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity and Yuba Counties. If you live in one of these counties, then your district House Representative is Doug LaMalfa. He is a Republican.
