If you have not already registered to vote, you must register by October 22nd to vote in the November elections. October 22nd is the last day you can register so that you can vote in November. The places that have voter registration cards and can help you register are:
• State or local voter registration and/or election offices
• The department of motor vehicles
• The library and maybe other public assistance agencies
• Armed services recruitment centers
• State-funded programs that serve people with disabilities
• Any public facility that a state has designated as a voter registration agency
If you chose to vote by mail, you will get a ballot in the mail. You must mail it in by the date on the ballot. You can also take it to your polling place on election day. If you chose to vote at the polls, you must find your polling place. To find your polling place, go to to http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/find-polling-place.htm. Scroll down to find your county and click on Polling Place link that is under the Election Office’s phone number. Type in your street address if it asks for your address then click Find Polling Place.
