You can also have help with voting on Election Day. You can vote by mail

from home, or you can go to the polls to vote. If you choose to vote at the polls, make sure that your polling site has the voting accomodations that you need. Polling sites should allow the following:

  • An election official can take you in ahead of the line so that you can have first pick of the voting machine for people with disabilities.
  • You can use a rubber stamp to sign your name.
  • You can use a large magnifying sheet inside the voting booth.
  • You can use audio voting with earphones.
  • You can bring anyone into the voting booth with you to help you vote, but not your employer or union worker.
  • You can have someone bring your ballot out to the curb, if you can go inside.

If you are seriously sick or hospitalized at any time between the 6th day before Election Day and 5:00 PM on Election Day, you can apply for an emergency absentee ballot. Let someone know how you need help with voting, and let”s all go vote!
