Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving has come once again. In a few days, most of us will be sitting down to feasts with our families and friends, but what is laid out on the table now is very different from the first Thanksgiving feast in 1621. They ate deer, duck, fish and other seafood, eel, squash, vegetables, and bread. Potatoes had not been brought to America yet. The original purpose of having this thanksgiving feast was that the pilgrims wanted to thank God for taking care of them and providing for them because they had trusted in Him. What are we thankful for these days? I am thankful for a job where I am able to help people in ways that make them feel better. It is a job where I am also encouraged to say and try out my thoughts and ideas! I have been told this is rare to have in a job and that I need to hold on to it. I am thankful for family, friends and music as well! What are you thankful for? Let us know!
