This made me laugh because I work on keeping my skin healthy. Throughout the day our skin collects dust and dirt from our surroundings and oils from our pores. Dirt, dust and oils cake onto our skin and plug up our pores so that they can’t breathe, which can make our skin tough and leathery looking. This is why it is so important to wash our skin in a shower or bath every day or at least every other day. Women often go one step further and wash their faces with an exfoliator (something a little rough) from a store or even sugar from home to take off the dirt, oil and dead skin that builds up on their skin. Some women (and men) also use mud packs and facial masks to clear away the dirt, oil and dead skin that builds up on their skin. Then they put on cream to keep their skin from drying out and cracking. These mud packs and facial masks are usually only used a few times a week, and they leave skin healthy and fresh looking. So happy National Mud Pack Day and healthy skin!
